YEAR 4

Mrs Overman and Miss Mordey

Spring Term 2018

This half term English lessons will be based around our class novel, The Iron Man, by Ted Hughes (not to be confused with the Marvel character!).

In Maths we’ll be practising calculation methods (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) using larger number. We will also be working on fractions of numbers, angles and 2D shapes.

Our Science topic is Teeth and Digestion. We will be looking at types of teeth and how to look after them, as well as the journey food takes once we have swallowed it.

We are continuing our Rainforests topic until half term. Most lessons will be based around the impact humans have on the rainforest.

In PE we will be explaining movement through Creative Lyrical and Street Dance.
