Summer Term 2018

This half term we will be working on extended writing based on the classic novel, The Jungle Book. Children will be encouraged to apply their writing skills more independently.

In Maths we will be focusing on: data, measures, calculations and Roman numerals.

Our Science topic is Sound, looking at how sounds are made and travel, and noise and pollution.

Our topic is The Romans. We will take our lead from the children and their interests. We are also planning a visit to Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland.

In PE, we will begin our athletics training ready for Sports Day and Glynwood Games.

We will be covering a range of Computing skills including coding, wordprocessing, data handling and graphics.
