YEAR 4

Mrs Overman and Miss Mordey

Spring Term 2017

We hope you had a good Christmas and Happy New Year! This is what we will be studying this half term.

In English we will reading ‘The Iron Man’ by Ted Hughes. A lot of our written work will be based on this novel.

In Science, we will be continuing our topic ‘Digestion and Eating’. We will particularly be focusing on teeth. We will look at the types of teeth we have, how to look after them and will be investigating which liquids are good for them.

In Maths, we will be working on number, calculation, shape and time.

Our Creative Curriculum topic is earthquakes and volcanoes. We will look at what these are, why they happen and where they occur on our planet.

Volcanic fun in Y4RO
