YEAR 3

Mrs Wright, Mrs Etherington and Miss Robinson

Spring Term 2018

Our first half term will be very busy learning our lines and new songs ready to perform our play ‘Tuishi Pamoja’. This play is set in the African savannah so we will have herds of crazy animals on our hands!

In English, our main writing focus will be playscripts and narrative. Please encourage your child to learn their weekly spellings and to practise their letter joins in handwriting.

We hope that you and your child have had fun with the Abacus Maths homework; this will continue throughout the year. Also in Maths, it would really benefit your child if they practised their 3 and 4 times tables at home to help with their leaning in school.

After half term our topic will be Ancient Egypt and in Science we will be studying light.

We hope to see you all at 1.30pm on Friday 9th February to see your fabulous children perform in ‘ Tuishi Pamoja’.
