Spring Term 2019
Happy New Year and welcome to the Spring Term of Year 3. Our main focus for the first part of the term will be on our production of ‘The Bee Musical’. The children will soon be bringing home scripts and songs to learn. We are sure that it will be an extravaganza for you to enjoy!
We are also very lucky to receive some coaching sessions this half term in gymnastics and multi-skills.
We hope that it will be a successful and enjoyable term!

Year 3 had a great time at their Christmas party. They played lots of games, ate yummy food and did some excellent dancing. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of Year 3!
Miss Bowes' class had a lovely afternoon singing Christmas songs for the residents of Hawksbury House nursing home. We were even treated to chocolates and juice afterwards.
On Wednesday, two lifeguards from the RNLI came to Glynwood and gave us lots of helpful information about staying safe when visiting our local coasts and beaches. Some of us even got to dress up!

We all came to school today dressed in our pyjamas for Diabetes Awareness Day. We had a relaxing afternoon and even tried out some peer massage.
We had great fun at our halloween disco and our costumes were all fantastic.
For the past 3 weeks, Y3 have have had basketball sessions from an Eagles coach. They have learnt some basic skills such as dribbling, aiming and shooting and have started playing some games. They are making excellent progress and are having great fun along the way!
