Spring Term 2017

It will be a busy first half term for Year 3 as we will be learning our lines, dances and songs for our performance of ‘Dragon’. Please put the date in your diary to come and watch our play – Thursday 16th February at 1.30pm.

We are continuing to read ‘Stig of the Dump’, with lots of our English lessons being centred around this novel.

In Maths, as well as important number skills, we will be focusing on Fractions, 2D and 3D shape and time. Any extra help you can give your child to tell the time at home will be very much appreciated.

Science lessons will be based on ‘Animals including humans’ which involves food and diet, skeletons and muscles.

We are very excited about our topic after half term as our topic will be Ancient Egypt – a firm favourite!
