Miss Bowes and Mr Lyon

Summer Term 2018

Welcome to the Summer Term.

This term we will be taking advantage of the better weather and exploring the outdoor environment as part of our Great Outdoors topic.

We plan on going for walks in around the school grounds, building shelters, creating outdoor art, taking bark rubbings and lots more besides!

This links nicely to our Science topic of plants where we will be planting our own plants and flowers and watching them grow.

The focus for our English lessons will be on the teaching of phonics in preparation for our phonics screening check in June (More information to follow).

Our Maths lessons will focus on shape, number and problem solving.
