Summer Term 2018

Welcome to the Summer term, we can’t quite believe how quickly this year has gone!

As usual we will be very busy this term and have lots of things to look forward to such as planting and growing, sports day and our colour carnival. We will also be continuing to follow the children’s interests within the classroom. Hopefully the weather will remain good to allow us to make the most of our outdoor spaces. We have our trip to BALTIC to look forward to and will be arranging another summer trip which we will inform you about closer to the time.

In the run up to the children going into Year 1 we are encouraging them to continue to develop their independence. The transition from Reception to Year 1 is a big step for all children and we plan a series of transition times for the children to meet and get to know the new staff and classroom.

Thank you for your continued support and please don’t forget to check the website to see what we have been up to in Reception.
