Miss Crawley and Miss Coxon

Spring Term 2019

Welcome to the Spring term!

The Autumn term has flown over and the children have really impressed us with how well they have settled in and the progress they have made so far.

As usual we will be very busy this term and have lots of things to look forward to such as Chinese New Year, Pancake day and celebrations leading up to Easter. We will continue to involve parents/carers with events such as Ladies Pamper Day, story times and special book times.

Activities within the classroom will continue to be planned around the children’s interests. Our play based environment supports this and allows children to access resources independently. We were so pleased to see so many of you at our maths/literacy drop-in session in September. The children have engaged really well in their small group maths and literacy sessions so far and these will continue throughout the rest of the year.

Thank you for your continued support and please don’t forget to check the website to see what we have been up to in Reception.

Reception love the outdoors !

Reception Halloween fun !

There was lots of spooky learning going on recently in Reception. The children love the story 'Room on the Broom' and so lots of our activities were based around this firm favourite ! The children made puppets to use in our puppet theatre, wrote Halloween cards,...
