Miss Crawley and Miss Coxon

Autumn Term 2018

Welcome to the Autumn term!

We hope you enjoyed your summer holidays, all of the children have come into reception raring to go and we are very excited about the year ahead.

Our child centred curriculum values the importance of play based learning and is focused around children’s interests and wherever possible we plan activities in accordance with this. This term we will also be planning activities linked to seasonal festivals such as Harvest and Christmas. We encourage active learning and will also be spending a great deal of time exploring our outdoor environment, whatever the weather! Therefore, correct clothing should always be provided.

There will be plenty of opportunities for you as parents/carers to become involved with your child’s learning this term such as family learning sessions and shared story times.

Thank you for your continued support and please don’t forget to check the website to see what we have been up to in Reception.
