Summer Term 2017

Welcome to the Summer Term!  We can’t quite believe how fast this year is going!

A huge welcome to our final new starters of the year and well done again to all the returner children who have helped to settle them in to Nursery life.

This term we will be exploring growing, making the most of our outdoor area, continuing to follow and support children’s interests and taking part in special days such as ‘Water Day’ and ‘Sports Day’. We will also be preparing our Nursery children for the big move to Reception. To support this transition there will be planned times for children to meet and get to know Reception staff and the Reception environment.

For our pre-nursery children we are preparing them for some of their friends moving class and also continuing to build on their independence ahead of our new children arriving in September. As you are aware our nursery is offering the 30 hour entitlement from September, as a result lots of time, thought and care has gone in to working out a new routine and how we can best offer this. Please make sure you attend our intake meeting to find out new information about our changes.

We have such a lot going on this term, please keep an eye out on our nursery noticeboard and for letters in trays for dates and information.

Thank you for your continued support.
