Children can come to school in non uniform and ‘mad’ hair. Miss. Ferguson has bravely agreed to have her head shaved in support of the fund, this will be done by 4 lucky year 6 children in a morning assembly. Donations welcome.

A number of local residents, especially in Glynwood Gardens, have expressed their concerns over people parking over their driveways. Whilst it is not against the law to park over driveways, it is very inconsiderate. Please respect our neighbours and park considerately.
Year 5 have had their annual visit from the Fire Brigade. The officer told us what to do when fire breaks out. We were amazed at how quickly fire spreads. He also told us how hoax calls can cost lives! Katie was our Fire Officer for the session!
Hurray the sun is shining for Empty Classroom Day. We are really looking forward to seeing what all the classes get up to today as well as a whole school picnic for lunch.
Reception had a fabulous day for our trip to Cullercoats beach! Even though the weather was dark and gloomy it didn't spoil our fun! Eve and Beth our RNLI lifeguards gave us a safety talk where we learned all about what the different flags mean. We were fantastic at...
Having looked carefully at trees outside we made our own inside !! We also discovered that to stand up our challenge tree really needed some roots! For our drawings we were inspired by the work of Paul Klee. Look out for our end products around school....
We went out into our grounds to look carefully at the trees - drawing a few imaginary ones too ! Watch out for that wolf !!!!
We had a fantastic day out at Thornley Woods. We discovered newts,fish and beetles when we went pond dipping.even though the trays just looked like they were full of dirty pond water! Phil and Liz our wardens for the day helped us identify flowers, grasses and trees....
