Welcome Glynwood Primary School
I am delighted to welcome you to our website, which will provide you with the latest news from Glynwood.
Glynwood is a very happy school where everyone has a voice, is valued and supported to achieve their very best in everything they do.
Everyone at Glynwood works together to provide the opportunities every child needs to be successful.
Thank you for visiting our website – I hope you find all of the information you require.
Mrs Debra Ryan: Headteacher
We are inviting parents/carers into school to give information on the sorts of things the children will be learning during their small group maths and phonics sessions in school and how this learning can be supported at home. The session will also include information about your child’s weekly reading book and how you can support reading at home too. Meeting will take place in the reception classroom. Come in to school via the main entrance.

A number of local residents, especially in Glynwood Gardens, have expressed their concerns over people parking over their driveways. Whilst it is not against the law to park over driveways, it is very inconsiderate. Please respect our neighbours and park considerately.

We have been practising how to write numbers in Nursery and we think you will agree that we are pretty good...
We LOVE stories and we always look forward to our grown ups coming in to join us for storytime every fortnight. Sometimes Mrs Yielder reads one of our favourite stories to everyone and sometimes we share stories with our own grown ups. Some of us love stories so much...

Some of the children in Year 1 have been doing some brilliant reading in their peer tutor reading group alongside the Year 5 children. Well done to all the children involved. Here they are enjoying a party to celebrate their...
