Letter-join is an on-line resource for teaching cursive handwriting at school and at home. It uses interactive animations to demonstrate joined-up letter formation and hundreds of worksheets for real handwriting practice.

A number of local residents, especially in Glynwood Gardens, have expressed their concerns over people parking over their driveways. Whilst it is not against the law to park over driveways, it is very inconsiderate. Please respect our neighbours and park considerately.
Last Wednesday, Year 5 attended the British Citizenship Ceremony at the Civic Centre in Gateshead. This is where people from other countries become British citizens - it was very interesting. The Mayor was present. The class sang 2 lovely songs to add to the ceremony....
Year 1 invited their parents in to share with their story time this week and enjoyed "The Smartest Giant in Town". Look out for more dates when we would love you to come and join...
Jeans for Genes Day is this Friday. It's a day where children & staff can come to school wearing jeans or other denim clothing. We ask that everyone who comes to school wearing denim (or other clothing from home if you have nothing denim) makes a donation for this...
Thanks to the fabulous fundraising efforts of the School Council, Friends of Glynwood and a grant from our local councillors we were able to give our tired old library a total refurbishment. Our new 'Book Shed' has a garden theme and opens out onto the school garden....
