We have had a fabulous afternoon with our grown ups making Eiffel Towers and a few other famous landmarks. Well done everyone and a HUGE thank you to all of those who came along and supported your children to make the fantastic models.
After reading the book “Handa’s Surprise”, we tasted lots of fruits like mango, pineapple, passion fruit, as well as orange and banana. We liked some of them, though others weren’t quite so popular. Well done everyone for trying.
The Year 2 children have been fantastic during cookery club! They have used lots of cooking skills like mixing, spreading, weighing, cutting and kneading, to list a few. They have also been fantastic at tidying up after themselves and have been superb dish washers!...
All the year 4 children have now finished their forest school sessions. Today we fought the cold by building dens for their teddies and even themselves as well as having a campfire with toasted marshmallows. We warmed up with some hot chocolate.
Year 1 had a great time this afternoon making peppermint creams. It is linked to a book we have been doing as a whole school called “the matchbox diaries” and in that story they make these sweets. We had great fun and they were absolutely delicious.
