What a fabulous afternoon we have had. We made pancakes on the open fire, which were brilliant and had syrup, lemon and sugar. Mmmmm! We then had a go at splitting, chopping wood and even sawing it with a huge bow saw. We then made our own hammer out of a log!...
We have had a fabulous afternoon with our grown ups making Eiffel Towers and a few other famous landmarks. Well done everyone and a HUGE thank you to all of those who came along and supported your children to make the fantastic models.
After reading the book “Handa’s Surprise”, we tasted lots of fruits like mango, pineapple, passion fruit, as well as orange and banana. We liked some of them, though others weren’t quite so popular. Well done everyone for trying.
All the year 4 children have now finished their forest school sessions. Today we fought the cold by building dens for their teddies and even themselves as well as having a campfire with toasted marshmallows. We warmed up with some hot chocolate.
