Earlier this term the children in Reception had lots of fun celebrating Chinese New Year. They made their own concertina dragon puppets – it was tricky to fold the paper but they all did a brilliant job! They also worked together to paint and decorate two large dragon heads in preparation for our Chinese New Year parade. Later in the week everyone was so excited to go on the parade, we each had a musical instrument to make some loud music as we walked all around the school. It was so much fun! During milk and fruit time after the parade, we all shared some Chinese prawn crackers and they went down so well! Lots of us loved the taste of them and we used our beautiful manners to ask if we could try some more! Kung Hei Fat Choi! Happy Chinese New Year!
