Glynwood celebrated European Languages day in style today and came to school dressed in their best French attire! We saw lots of blue, red and white stripes, berets and moustaches! Lots of children took part in our ‘Tour De France’ and cycled to school…so much so we had to create an emergency bike shed in the KS1 yard to fit them all! Thank you to everyone who took part and winning class will be announced during our celebration assembly tomorrow!
Each class enjoyed a French picnic in our hall where they tasted a variety of French foods from croissants to brioche, and even special jam from France! There was French radio to listen to and photographs of famous landmarks to discuss.
We had such a great time!!
Keep a look out for what your class have been up to!
