Year 1 class went out into the garden area and had a great time exploring the pond. We spotted some frogs and a big one even jumped onto one of our hands.

The Year 1 children took some rhubarb from the school garden and dug up their potatoes from the outside area to cook. We enjoyed delicious boiled potatoes, followed by yummy rhubarb crumble. Fantastic. We love our outdoors and growing areas.

We celebrated the annual sports assembly by handing out over 160 medals to children from KS1 and KS2.  A particular big pat on the back for our winners of the sportsman and sportswomen of the year  – Reece Thompson, Tamzin Pleasants and Jenny Akers.  As usual we participated in a huge range of sports including: football, rugby, basketball, dance, gym, rowing and athletics to name a few.  Well done to everyone for achieving their medals today and a big thank you to […]

Year 6 children had a fab time at their disco dancing the night away and strutting their funky stuff.  “Disco Don” put on a great show and everyone enjoyed a fantastic evening.  Thanks to the staff that helped and joined in with the fun and games!  Hope you had a fun-filled evening with lots of wondeful memories to take away.

Year 5 organised a fantastic sporting event today for the Year 1 and Year 2 children. There were lots of different events and activities and the children worked in teams to try each of the sports and skills. Everyone had a fab time. The Year 5 children were brilliant organisers and worked so hard to help all the children, demonstrating and encouraging them. Well done to everyone.

Year 6 children put on 3 magnificent shows for the school and their parents over the past week.  The cast did an extremely good job of learning their lines and songs and performed well under the lights and pressure of a live audience.  I was particularly impressed with how they covered for cast members who were ill or on holiday.  Well done everyone – you should be very proud of your efforts!
