Glynwood are introducing a new system to reduce conjestion out side of school. You park at the Beacon Lough Baptist Church (in their car park) and then walk up to the school. The walk doesn’t take longer than five mins. By doing this the children are getting some exercise and the school is a safer place to walk past. The scheme will be launched in January 2015 so please support us. School Council

Three teams of Year 4 children took part in a special football tournament at Joseph Swan Academy on Thursday 11th December. The tournament commemorated the World War 1 Christmas Day truce in 1914 when the British and German soldiers stopped fighting for the day and played football together. The children had a great time. They played well and behaved well too.
